How about consumption? (Gasoline)

My YuDo 6 G Navigator (gasoline engine), started (3 weeks ago) with a consumption of 20 L/100 Kms.

I've reset the system values and now (1.500 kms later) is over 14 liters and descending very low, but I don't think it will arrive to something less than 11 Liters as the manual user's says. (this engine is N20TG gasoline 2.000 cc turbo-charged). I'm not reading data from BAW 212 system and I calculate liters and kilometers by myself.

What is you average consumption experience?

In Spain you can buy fuel engine (166 HP power) or gasoline engine (218 HP). By now NAVIGATOR version is only available in gasoline (this one is that I bought). I don't know anyone who has a BAW 212 (or YoouDooo 6). In the city where I live is the second unit sold.

Coincides that today I was talking with a friend (mechanics) about consumption of the car. He said that the motor is a few "little" for a car like BAW 212 (weight: 2.200 kgs): only 2.000 cc (+turbo) and the gearbox is changing every gear at, more or less, 2.000 rpm. Then, the engine have to do an important effort to move the car until a rpm level where works "easily". Due that de engine torque is over 3.000 rpm, he recomends to use gearbox in manual mode and try to change between gears over 3.000 rpm.

I agree with this opinion, and coming home (40 kms) I was driving by this way. The afc (Average Fuel Consumption) has fallen 0,2 liters/100 kms.

This doesn't means a fantastic result, but I will continue using manual (sequential) gearbox and we'll see if AFC is still descending. I will tell you.

Of course, driving I don't go fast and only a few times arrive to 100 kms/hour. Also can say that if I go like this, I've still seen that taking a turn and had understeer (you have the impression that the tail of the car tries to pass you). I think is a heavy and high car and on the road has its limits.
